Nalanda Festivals
Baisakh purnima : is celebrated as Buddha Jayanti here, as Buddha was born, attained enlightenment-attained nirvana on the same full moon day of April/ May.
Another famous festival is chhat Puja celebrated here. It is the festival in which Sun god is worshiped.
